Centro Communitario Juan Deigo's mission is to promote leadership while serving the people in need. The Center provides services to Hispanic families in the health prevention area and educational programs, including computer classes, English as a Second Language, basic computer skills, summer activities for children and families, food pantry, prevention education, community organizing, health promotion, human rights center, after-school tutoring, and ESL classes.
We had the opportunity to reach out to twelve new families of the Juan Diego Community again this year by taking an Angel from our giving tree to purchase much needed coats, shoes, pants, other clothing items, or to donate money so that food baskets can be made for the families.
