The Frankfort United Methodist Church was recognized by the Illinois State Historical Society at their Sesquicentennial Church Awards Banquet in March. The church has been serving the spiritual needs of Frankfort area residents for 154 years.

Thanks to the hard work and hours of effort put in by Pam Bloom; a Church Historian who worked with several area churches; almost 100 Illinois Sesquicentennial Churches received recognition.
